Etiquette for Athletes training at Florida State University.

By providing Etiquette for Athletes training, the coaching staff at Florida State University has put the focus on proper conduct, especially while wearing the uniform, and reinforcing the importance of being gentlemen. This was one of the weekly sessions FSU Team Coordinator, Terrell Buckley, hosted for the young players to enhance their life skills.

The training program, taught by The Manners Advantage Inc., Tampa, Florida, was geared toward enhancing the student athletes’ self-confidence in professional and social settings. Topics included ‘Introductions on the Offense’ and ‘Dining Etiquette Training Camp‘. “Players must be comfortable and self-assured in a variety of social situations” says Terrell Buckley, FSU Team Coordinator.

The class was taught by Certified Etiquette Consultant, Mrs. Leslie Jennewein, who is trained by The Protocol School of Washington. “Our goal is to teach traditional values applicable to the 21st century. We strive to make all of our classes as hands-on and fun as it is informative” says Mrs. Kim Osborne, Co-Owner, The Manners Advantage Inc.
