Napkin Etiquette and Table Manners for Florida Professionals

Dear TMA,

Recently I have noticed restaurants offering the choice of dark or light napkins. What is the reason for this?

Dear Valerie,

This is a good question! The reason restaurants offer dark or light napkins is that white napkins leave white lint flakes all over ones black skirt or pants. Therefore, black napkins are the best choice for dark color clothing. They are just going the extra mile!

The boys had a great time on Saturday. Eli has been getting compliments all weekend from friends and strangers on his manners!

Thank you SO MUCH for the wonderful Gasparilla themed class. My daughter came home telling us the rules for shaking hands, eating soup and using utensils. I'm so glad we found your organization.
